DCW ex-chief accused of corruption

New Delhi: Former DCW chief Barkha Singh has been accused of financial irregularities by another former chief, Juhi Khan, who has written to the LG and ACB about it.“She claims to be a social worker but has over Rs 3 crore in her bank. How can a social worker be so rich?“ Khan said.Khan further said Singh didn't deserve her salary , “She pursued just one case in eight years; the present chief has has pursued over 140 in two months. Singh would take up cases that favoured the Congress,“ Khan added.Singh contested the charge and said AAP was plotting against her. “Why can't rich people be social workers?“ she said.
